Positivity. It’s an interest topic, isn’t it?

Some people think they have it, some people know they don’t, but do people really understand the value and direct impact that a positive person can have on one another?

Jon Gordon states that in just one year, one person will influence 80,000 people. So, let’s each take a moment to add a little good into this world.

Discover how and why positive leaders transform teams and organizations, and in turn, change the world:

1. Positive Leaders Drive Positive Culture: Positive culture keeps employees happy and engaged, decreases employee turnover and improves workplace relationships.

2. Don’t Focus on the Fruit, focus on the Root: Oftentimes, we focus on the outcome and not the process. Create a culture where people are on a mission to do more than just “get the job done.” By focusing on the root, the fruit will be 10x as abundant.

3. Find Leaders with a Shared Vision: Leaders that know and understand their vision, have the power to make that vision come true. Did you know that most people quit a marathon on the 20th mile? They’re mentally exhausted, not physically. Make sure your leaders ALL have that zoom focus and run with it.

4. Lead with Optimism, Lead with Belief: The keys to success are to stay positive and never stop. The number one factor of success is grit – it is the glue that holds the team together and powers us forward.

So how do we nurture leaders and continue down a positive path?  By the four C’s:

•  Communicate: Most teams break down because of poor communication, where there’s a void negativity creeps in, fill that void. Looking for a great learning opportunity to get your entire team communicating and connecting? Join us Dec. 13 for our MBS Communications Workshop!

•  Connect: It’s not just about surface level communication, it’s about authentic connections; everyone wants a committed team, but you must have connection first. The best way to connect past a surface level with your team? Be authentic.

•  Commitment: As a leader you must commit to your team, because commitment honors commitment. Remember, “we before me” is the best rule of thumb.

•  Care: Leaders who care develop teams that care. Imagine if we added an extra 1% more each day? We have all the time to do the things that matter most, so make caring for your team from the heart a priority.

So, there you have if folks: The power of positive leadership from the amazingly talented best-selling author and keynote speaker, Jon Gordon.  EntreCon was an incredible 2 ½ days of learning and growing.  If you couldn’t join us and didn’t receive a copy of Mr. Gordon’s book, you can always buy it on Amazon.
