“Build a Brain” highlights Parent Outreach

How does Studer Community Institute's Parent Outreach project work?

In the latest episode of SCI's “Build a Brain” show, airing Tuesdays on BlabTV, from 5:30 to 6 p.m., Wynter Davis shares the story of how parent outreach has grown. "Build a Brain" is one of three shows SCI is producing, airing on BlabTV, highlighting the work we do in the community.

Davis is program coordinator at Studer Community Institute, where she leads classes directly with parents to coach and teach them strategies about why it is so important to read, talk, sing and play from the very first days of life.

“By sharing the story of Parent Outreach and Make Play Smart decals, we can make sure the whole community knows we want to help build every child’s brain, because every child deserves the same chance in life,” Davis said.
