Successful people know that lifelong learning is the minimum requirement for getting ahead and staying ahead.

The external environment, information and knowledge on everything is changing — every day. This means that your knowledge must increase to keep up, otherwise you and the organization you work for are falling behind.

For people who understand this and become dedicated to continuous learning, it means seeing the value in training, leadership workshops, annual conferences. it means learning all you can about new insights that can help you be more effective in getting the results in your job.

Our mission at Studer Community Institute is to improve the quality of life for people in the Pensacola Metro area and one of the ways we do this is by providing training and development for organizations either free or at a very low cost, here in Pensacola.

More than 230 people attended the latest workshop from Studer Community Institute this Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, with founder and faculty member Quint Studer, who shared insights into how to create a sense of urgency throughout and organization.

"Metrics are very important to us at Studer Community Institute," said Rachael Gillette, director of training and development. "We believe in transparency and accountability so that we can continually improve what we do and provide high quality training to people."

Attendees were asked to fill out an evaluation on the session and rated Quint Studer 9.9 out of 10 and the value of the session as 9.7 out of 10.

The workshop received a Net Promoter Score of 96 percent indicating that attendees would recommend the training to friends or colleagues.
