PSC hosts info on health care career programs

PSC is hosting information sessions on its 25 health career programs. Credit: Pensacola State College.

Pensacola State College is offering free information sessions on its 25 health care programs. The informal sessions answer questions about admissions, cost, start dates and much more.

Pensacola State offers 18 direct patient contact programs such as dental hygiene, EKG technician, nursing, EMT, paramedic, physical therapy assistant, pharmacy technician, and veterinary technology.

PSC also offers seven indirect patient contact programs such as 911 dispatcher, health information management, health unit coordinator, and medical records transcribing.

— Warrington campus information sessions are in the Library, Building 3500, Room 3505:

· 10-11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 12

· 2-3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18

— Pensacola campus information sessions are in the Library, Building 20, Room 2037:

· 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 4

· Noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, April 6

— Milton campus information session is in the Student Center, Building 4200:

· 10:45-11:45 a.m., Monday, March 7

— South Santa Rosa Center information session is in Room 5131A:

· 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, April 5
