Student Cassandra Bishop wins UWF/EntreCon elevator pitch contest

UWF student Cassandra Bishop

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, students gathered at the University of West Florida to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges from the UWF College of Business.

After all the pitches were made, Cassandra Bishop emerged as the winner with an idea for an app that can connect business owners with vendors that meet their specific needs. You can watch her pitch below.

Her prize? A ticket to EntreCon, happening Nov. 5-6 at the historic Rex Theater in downtown Pensacola and the opportunity to meet, network and find funding for her business idea. For more information on EntreCon, visit entreconpensacola.com.
