Which Pensacola metro area high school has the best track record for graduating students?

In Escambia County, it is West Florida High School, a magnet school where students must apply to attend, with a graduation rate among economically disadvantaged students of 93.2 percent.

Next was Tate High School, where in 2014, 61.5 percent of poor students graduated.

The lowest graduation rate among students who are more financially well-off is 71.6 percent at Pine Forest High School.

So says data from the Florida Department of Education, which I reviewed ahead of the release of 2015 graduation data.

The best estimate Escambia and Santa Rosa education officials have for when we'll know officially, how many members of the class on 2015 graduated is sometime this month.
