At times like these, great leaders look inward and use the time to regroup—or, as Dr. Stephen Covey would say, “sharpen the saw.” “Pausing” gives us the chance to work on our business (not just in our business) in a way we can’t do when things are booming.
First and foremost, we need to get focused and intentional about how we respond to this pandemic. What you do and how you behave over the next few weeks (or possibly months) will stay with your employees for a long time to come.
