Pensacola State College, Manna Food Pantries and Gulf Power Co. present their annual “Fill A Bowl for MANNA” event, Saturday, Jan. 17, 1-3 p.m., at the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio on Pensacola State College campus, 1000 College Boulevard, Pensacola, FL. The public is invited to attend the event and select a bowl from a colorful variety of hand-made items by area artists and Pensacola State College Visual Arts faculty and students.  Once the bowls have been selected, participants will fill their bowls with soups prepared by some of Pensacola’s most popular chefs and eateries. The $30 entry fee entitles guests to take their bowl home as a keepsake. Proceeds from the sale of the bowls benefit Manna directly by providing food for the hungry.  Reservations are requested, but walk-ins are welcome.  Pay online at www.mannafoodpantries.org, or mail checks to Manna, 116 E. Gonzalez Street, Pensacola, FL  32501. Manna, established in 1983, is a non-profit organization that fights hunger in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, serving more than 32,000 people annually. For more information, call Manna at (850) 432-2053.
