AMIkids Pensacola Receives President Obama’s Volunteer Service Award

Escambia Boys Base, operated by AMIkids Pensacola, a nonprofit organization that helps kids with a troubled past achieve a bright future, has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award, an award given by U.S. President Barack Obama in recognition of helping address pressing needs in our community and country. AMIkids Pensacola’s Escambia Boys Base is a residential facility that serves kids involved in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and together with the AMIkids Pensacola’s day treatment program, has been in operation since 1991 and has helped more than 3,000 kids transform their lives.
