Bahn breaks UWF school record in 3K and 5K

West Florida women’s cross country runner Kelley Bahn broke the school track records in the 5,000-meter race and the 3,000-meter race at separate track meets in April.
Bahn ran a 5k in a time of 17:45.08 at Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla. on April 3 and the 3k in a time of 10:28 at the South Alabama Invitational in Mobile, Ala. on April 11.
Bahn now holds school records in the cross country 5k (17:58.80), cross country 6k (22:18.74), the track 5k and the track 3k.
The Tallahassee, Fla. native was the top NCAA Division II finisher in a field made up of primarily Division I student-athletes at Florida Relays. She finished 32nd overall in the field. Bahn was the first non-Division I finisher and the second overall finisher at the South Alabama Invitational.
The senior was the 2014 NCAA South Region Cross Country champion, 2014 Gulf South Conference Cross Country champion, four-time All-South Region in cross country and four-time All-GSC in cross country.
