Two longtime Pensacola salons are combining forces to create a “mega-salon” in East Hill.

Cuttin’ Loose, located in downtown Pensacola, a boutique salon owned by Deborah Ward, announced via social media that she and colleague Mary Chastain, owner of Chastain’s Salon and Spa located East Hill, will join operations under one roof.

Beginning May 1, Cuttin' Loose will be operating inside Chastain's 5000-square-foot building on 12th Avenue between Leonard and Baars streets.

They have been in business in the East Hill neighborhood for the past 12 years. Cuttin’ Loose has been in business since 1999.

In a news release Ward said she and her team — stylists, Kathy Emley, Melissa Albury, Jeannie Stoos and Jennifer Harris — are excited for the move.

“While Cuttin’ Loose’s downtown location was great on Garden Street, the central location provided by the 12th Avenue Chastain's Salon and Spa will be perfect for our existing clients as well as new ones in the neighborhood,” Ward said.

Services provided include services for women and men, special event styling, hair loss support and prevention for medical conditions, airbrush training, massage, facial fillers and Botox  appointments provided by Dr. Derek Jones, www.drderekjones.com .
