Sparkplug Social is a boutique consulting firm specializing in marketing, public relations, social media management, branding and more. The firm focuses on building relationships between organizations and the public and focusing on raising the overall awareness of a brand, product or image of a company. Sparkplug Social was founded by Whitney Fike. Her background includes working with a variety of businesses including not-for-profits, events, festivals, retail, government, and financial. Fike has always had a passion for marketing and public relations and was determined to become a trusted professional in the Pensacola area. Previous to opening Sparkplug Social, Fike worked for Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union and the Fiesta of Five Flags Association. She is a graduate of the Greater Pensacola Chamber Leadership Pensacola, class of 2012. Fike holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from the University of West Florida. Sparkplug Social places an emphasis on being actively involved in the community. Fike has been involved and served on the board of directors with organizations such as the Sacred Heart Foundation Cordova Mall Ball Committee, Young Entrepreneurs Academy Mentorship Program, IMPACT 100, Fiesta of Five Flags Fiesta Forces, past president of the Florida Public Relations Association Pensacola chapter, Krewe of Hip Huggers, and an alumni of the Pensacola Young Professionals.
