'Carfit'; prospective students events on tap at UWF

The following upcoming events are happening at the University of West Florida this week.
Title: CarFit
Date: April 8 and 9
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: UWF Pensacola Campus
Details: This interactive and educational program, reaching a proud milestone of welcoming the 50,000th driver, will teach senior participants how to make their personal vehicle "fit" them to increase safety and mobility when they hit the road. The program, CarFit, was created through a partnership between AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association to help promote conversations between older drivers and their families about driving safety, maximize safe driving independence, and help seniors get a better comfort and safety fit behind the wheel.
Title: Spring Explore UWF! (H.S. Juniors)
Date: April 11
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: UWF Pensacola Campus
Details: Explore UWF! is an Open House program designed to allow prospective students the opportunity to visit UWF and experience first-hand the Argonaut community. This program is geared toward current high school juniors.
