NEWS RELEASE — The Greater Pensacola Chamber will host a seminar for individuals and businesses affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill to simplify the claims process and answer any legal questions for those interested in seeking restoration funds.

The seminar will cover what qualifications are needed for BP oil spill claims and what documents are required for submission.

The seminar - which will be presented by Pensacola-based law firms Levin, Papantonio, Thomas, Mitchell, Rafferty & Proctor, P.A., and Beggs & Lane, RLLP - will take place on Oct. 1, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., at the Greater Pensacola Chamber, 117 W. Garden St.

Registration is free for Chamber members and $10 for the general public. Seating is limited, so visit PensacolaChamber.com/Events and register early to reserve your spot by Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The Chamber's Seminar Series offers workshops on topics of interest to local businesses and entrepreneurs. These events also allow both partners and non-partners to network, pursue professional development and to learn about the latest industry trends.
