City now issuing 2015 boat launch permits & renewals

The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department is now issuing boat launch permits for 2015. Annual boat launch permits are required for use of the City’s four boat launches located at Bayview Park, Sanders Beach, 17th Avenue, and Bayou Texar. Permits issued anytime in 2014 will expire December 31, 2014. Reminder letters will be mailed to 2014 annual permit holders.
The rates for 2015 remain unchanged and are as follows:
$26.88 ($25.00 + $1.88 sales tax) for residents in the City of Pensacola limits
$80.63 ($75.00 + $5.63 sales tax) for non-City residents
The City of Pensacola offers three ways to renew your permit:
- In person at Parks and Recreation, 4th Floor of City Hall, 222 West Main Street
- By mail—Mail a check or money order, along with your name and address, to the following address and the department will mail the permit to you. City of Pensacola Parks & Recreation Department P.O. Box 12910 Pensacola, FL 32521-0054
- By phone—Call the Parks and Recreation Department at 850-436-5670 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday) with your credit card information and a permit will be mailed to you.
