Escambia Clean Sweep comes to Montclair

NEWS RELEASE -- The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and the Montclair Neighborhood Watch will conduct an “Operation Clean Sweep” event on Thursday, June 19.

The clean-up begins at 8 a.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 1100 W. Michigan Ave. Volunteers are welcome and residents should drive carefully in that area.

Clean Sweep works with neighborhood watches, residents, churches and business owners to  control and prevent the damaging effects of crime. The task force works closely with Escambia County Animal Control, Environmental Law Enforcement, the United States Military, Escambia County Roads and Bridges and Neighborhood Watch groups to clean up neighborhoods and educate citizens on preventive measures that could be implemented to minimize crime.
