Escambia's Regency Park getting facelift

The Escambia County Parks and Recreation Department began remodeling  Regency Park, 8245 Fathom Road, on Oct. 20. The remodel will take two to three months to complete and during this time the park will be closed for safety precautions. Once completed the park will include a walking track, basketball court, exercise equipment, playground, pavilion and enhanced parking. The project will cost $400,000 and has been funded by the local option sales tax.
