The Pensacola News Journal is reporting that the federal courthouse in downtown Pensacola has such an extensive mold infestation that any plans by the General Services Administration to "perform the necessary repairs while the courthouse remains in use is unacceptable." According to a letter written to the GSA:
"Over 50 percent of the employees have reported symptoms consistent with mold and bacteria exposure: headaches and dizziness, nausea, aches and pains . . ." Rodgers wrote. "Many of them have suffered these symptoms from years."
Estimates put the cost of repairing the building at more than three times the original $10 million building contstruction price. To read the complete story, click here.
