The Pensacola News Journal reports that two of Escambia High School's suspended football players will be able to finish the season following a decision Tuesday by the Florida High School Athletic Association's Sectional Appeals Committee.
During a meeting in Tallahassee, junior receiver Joey Everette and junior defensive back JJ Hamilton won their appeal. The two could see playing time as early as Friday at Tallahassee Leon. Seniors Terik Miller, James Ellis, James Mayberry and Joe Roberson were denied reinstatement, but are permitted to appeal again. The next scheduled Sectional Appeals hearing is set for Nov. 4 in Tallahassee.
