Fingerprinting for a good cause

NEWS RELEASE–The ESCO Explorers Post #117 will conduct a fundraising car wash and fingerprinting in the parking lot of Precinct #3 at 30 N. Navy Blvd. in Warrington, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 7.
Please note: Fingerprinting is for family records only. The Sheriff’s Office will not retain copies of the prints.
The Explorers program is a voluntary program that is sponsored by the Escambia Sheriff’s Office. The program aims to educate and involve young people in law enforcement operations whether or not they choose to enter a career in law enforcement. Members gain a working knowledge of police work and have the opportunity to server their community.
Explorers receive training in patrol procedure, first aid, honor guard, criminal law, crime prevention, fingerprinting, arrest techniques, drug abuse prevention, firearms safety, crime scene techniques and more.
