Get ready for holiday rain

Your Tuesday and most of Wednesday is going to be wet. The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Western Florida Panhandle and Southwest Alabama effective immediately and lasting through Tuesday night. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop across the region ahead of a cold front with an expected total of two to four inches, with localized amounts totaling up to 8 inches. Flash flooding is possible in areas where thunderstorms pass over the same areas multiple times.
