Florida DEP hosts Bayou Chico meeting

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection will host a “Maps on the Table” meeting regarding Bayou Chico from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 11 at the Escambia County Central Office Complex, 3363 West Park Place. This meeting is the next step in the implementation of the Basin Management Action Plan for the bayou. The meeting aims to bring together key stakeholders from the community and government to discuss the location of potential sources of fecal bacteria and nutrients within the Bayou Chico watershed.
