The Florida Prepaid College Board is urging families to purchase a Prepaid Plan by Dec, 31, 2014 to take advantage of an incentive that can save them as much as $50.
The Board is waiving the $50 application fee for all newly purchased plans as part of a celebration of this year’s historic Open Enrollment period, which began Oct. 15. Families that have already purchased a plan and open a new one will have their $10 fee waived as well.
This Open Enrollment period marks the first time families can buy the new 1-Year Florida University Plan, starting as low as $43 a month, as well as significantly reduced prices for the most popular Florida Prepaid College Plans – the lowest since 2007. Open Enrollment ends Feb. 28, 2014.
