NEWS RELEASE Join The Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida Inc. and local artists for “Artists Gone Wild,” our annual silent auction event with live music by Blues Society of Northwest Florida.

The auction is planned for June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Apple Annie’s in Seville Quarter. The auction will feature various art media by more than 30 award-winning artists. Other auction and gift shop items will include liquors, books, jewelry, fossils and much more.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

The Wildlife Sanctuary had substantial damage during the April flooding when more than 3 feet of water rushed through the facility. While care for the animals has continued without interruption, funds are needed for their continued care and for restoration.

Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, Gulf Power Company and Fish Fry Magazine are major sponsors for the event.

Artists include: Kevin Osborne, Susan Mayer, Tommy Vogel, Donna Digiorgi, Christina Smith, Valerie Aune, Debbie Andress, Larry Steimel, Steve Andrews, Karen Groves, Leland Leonard, Paula Payne, Tristessa Osborne, Janice Neitzel, Rafi Perez, Klee Galligan, Matt Black, Trisha Macks, Dan Dunn, Ashton Howard, Nathan Holler, Kevin Wade, Brittney Neff, Heather Mitchell, Betsy Walker, Tony Krysinsky, Scott Melville, John and Judith Sasser, Mary Inabnit, John and Betty Hawkins.

All proceeds from the sales go to benefit the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida, which is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida started in 1982 and has been a growing part of the community for 32 years. Open seven days a week as a wildlife hospital and nursery for injured and orphaned wildlife, the facility relies mainly on donations to support the care of these animals in need of a second chance.
