Guy Harvey is known worldwide as an artist, explorer, and conservationist.

For the next few months, Pensacola is fortunate to have his presence grace our town in many capacities, including a stop at BlabTV's The Daily Brew on Thursday.

His art exhibit, The Lure of the Ocean: Original Works by Guy Harvey, opened at the Pensacola Museum of Art on May 9 and will run through Aug. 9.

On May 14, Harvey will call in to The Daily Brew for a live interview with host, Carly Borden. The show begins at 7 a.m. and co-host Robin Reshard joins Borden.

Harvey also will attend the Pensacola Blue Wahoos game to throw out the first pitch on Saturday, May 16. The Wahoos will play in specially-designed Guy Harvey jerseys and special jerseys will be auctioned off during the game.

The Gulf Coast Lionfish Coalition's fishing tournament is Saturday, which coincides with Lionfish Removal Awareness Day. The damage caused by this invasive species is an issue Harvey cares about and advocates on. The Daily Brew has recently hosted several guest experts to discuss the problem.
