NEWS RELEASE -- New Santa Rosa County Commissioner Jayer Williamson is hosting a district day on Aug. 6.

The District Day sessions will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. They begin with “Coffee with the Commissioner” from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Coffee Break Drowsy Poet located at 4620 Woodbine Road in Pace followed by office hours at the Pace location of the Santa Rosa County Tax Collector at 4487 Chumuckla Highway, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Both the coffee and office hours are intended to be informal with no set agenda or scheduled appointments needed. Residents are encouraged to stop by either location on the first Wednesday of each month with any questions, comments or concerns they would like to discuss with their District 1 Commissioner.

“It is my hope by holding set office hours and meetings in my district, it will give an opportunity for someone who may have difficulty visiting the county administrative complex in Milton a chance to discuss issues with me face-to-face,” Williamson said.
