Pensacola State College presents powerhouse jazz vocalist Jaimee Paul in concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus, 1000 College Blvd. Reminiscent of a 1940's jazz club, Paul’s performance is a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Rosemary Clooney and others. Along with her jazz combo, led by her husband Leif Shires on trumpet, Paul takes the audience back to the glory days of yesteryear. In addition to performing throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan, Paul has release several albums. Her first jazz album, “At Last,” reached number one on the iTunes chart. Tickets are $11 for general admission; $9 for seniors 60+, non-PSC students and children; $7 for PSC faculty, staff, retirees and PSC Seniors Club; free for PSC students with current college ID. Purchase tickets online at www.pensacolastate.edu/lyceum or at the door one hour before a performance. For reservations and more information, call 850-484-1847.
