The Studer Institute’s inaugural workshop, “Leadership in the Workplace,” did more than impart valuable wisdom about how to be a better manager and employee.

Participants have raised $30,000 for local nonprofits through the event at the Pensacola Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Pensacola.

The cost of attending the seminar “Leadership in the Workplace” hosted by the Institute’s founder, Quint Studer, was a $100 donation to the Pensacola area nonprofit of your choice.

More than 200 people attended the first day of the seminar. A session on Thursday, Aug. 21, was added due to demand for today’s event.

There still are spaces available for the Thursday session. Registration will be accepted at the door beginning at 7:30 a.m.; the cost of the seminar is a $100 donation to the local nonprofit of your choice. The seminar runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In addition, a business networking trade show will be available after the seminar. This provides an opportunity for local organizations to set up display tables with information on their products and services and network with other participants.
