Escambia County Emergency Management is mailing out its 2015 Evacuation Zone postcard to all addresses listed in an evacuation zone today. The postcard includes information on where you can learn which evacuation zone you reside in and how to sign up for Alert Escambia, the County’s new emergency alert notification system. If you get this postcard, read it and begin the process of create or update your disaster plan. This map tracks the paths of hurricanes Erin (1995), Opal (1995), Ivan (2004) and Dennis (2005), the major storms to most recently impact our area.
