Want to help make south Santa Rosa County more bicycle-friendly?
County officials are working on a bicycle pedestrian master plan for the south end of the county and they want your input. The aim is to create an attractive alternative to vehicle travel on U.S. 98.
Once complete, the plan will guide future projects with a focus on improving safety, recreational and tourism opportunities in the south end.
You can weigh in at one of three public meetings scheduled this month:
— Noon, Nov. 12 in Classroom B of the Andrews Research and Education Institute, 1020 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze.
— 10 a.m., Nov. 13 at the Navarre Visitor Information Center, 8543 Navarre Parkway, Navarre.
- — 6 p.m., Nov. 18 at the Tiger Point Community Center, 1370 Tiger Park Lane, Gulf Breeze.
