It’s a chance for government to come to the citizens.

Escambia County Commissioner Lumon May will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, that will include a slew of government and community leaders speaking to questions from residents.

Guests including faith community leaders, Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward, Sheriff David Morgan, Superintendent Malcolm Thomas and businessman Quint Studer will join May for an open forum discussion on crime, education and neighborhoods.

The meeting will be at Brownsville Assembly of God Church in the reception hall, 3100 W. Desoto St., Pensacola, and Progress+Promise editor Shannon Nickinson will co-moderate with May.

For more information, contact Commissioner May’s office at (850) 595-4930.

If there is a question you'd like to ask and you can't make the meeting, please leave it in the comments on this post.
