The sale of the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority's Main Street property could become a "missing piece that can rejuvenate the westside of Pensacola." That is the take from Scott Remington, lawyer for Quint and Rishy Studer, who helped broker the couple's purchase of the property at a offer of $5.2 million cash. Remington talked with NewsRadio 1620s Andrew McKay about the deal and about what might become of the tract in the future.
"I think Quint and Rishy's main goal is get the property vibrant and rejuvenated as soon as possible," Remington said. "That looks like support buildings for athletic fields, soccer, lacrosse, basketball and those types of things. Quint is looking at making it a healthy living and health care hub in downtown."
