Pensacola Metro holiday closures

Escambia County All county offices and departments will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving holiday. Regular hours of operation will resume Dec. 1. Escambia County School District All schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the Fall Break/Thanksgiving holiday. Normal school hours will resume Dec. !. Pensacola City Hall  City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Please report all non-emergency issues to 311.  Regular hours of operation will resume Dec. 1. City sanitation schedule change The City of Pensacola's sanitation services collection schedule will be changed during the Thanksgiving holiday week. Garbage, recycling and yard trash collections that are normally scheduled for Thursday will be made Wednesday. All other collection schedules for Thanksgiving week remain unchanged. West Florida Public Library All branches will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular hours of operation will resume Dec. !, Santa Rosa County  The following offices and departments will close Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular hours of operation will resume Dec. 1.
  • Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners, including the library system and animal shelter.
  • The Central Landfill on 6337 Da Lisa Road will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
  • Santa Rosa County Clerk of the Court.
  • Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser.
  • Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections.
  • Santa Rosa County Tax Collector.
South Santa Rosa sanitation schedule change Garbage pickup for south end franchise areas ONLY (generally the unincorporated areas of the 32562 and 32566 zip codes):
  • Waste Pro customers: Household garbage, yard waste and recycling collection service is postponed by one day. Regularly scheduled Thursday pick up is moved to Friday and Friday pickup to Saturday.
  • Waste Management customers: No pickup Thursday. Household garbage is postponed until the next service day, Dec. 1. Yard waste and recycling collections will resume Saturday.
Santa Rosa County School District All schools and offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Schools will dismiss early on Wednesday on a honors system between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Check Santa Rosa County School District calendar for individual school dismissal times. Normal school hours will resume Dec. !.
