John Hunter Nemechek, son of NASCAR driver Joe Nemechek, won the 47th Annual Snowball Derby at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla., Sunday, December 7, 2014. Before winning the Snowball Nemechek finished second in the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 at 4 a.m. on Sunday which started early in the morning due to rain delays from Saturday evening. The Snowflake is a 100 lap race. The Snowball is a 300 lap race which was extended because of two green flag cautions in the final laps. The 17 year old has been racing for 13 years. Pensacola’s Johanna Long finished 17th.
