Premie Cup Regatta events coming up

Sailing enthusiasts and water lovers can put their love of the water to use for a good cause through a series of events this month that benefit the Sacred Heart Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The events are tied to the Preemie Cup Regatta, scheduled for April 18 at Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze.To register, contact The Pensacola Beach Yacht Club Fleet Captain Mark Smith, at 850-291-2545, or send an e-mail to him at [email protected]. — The Preemie Cup Party & Silent Auction from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 23 at The Fish House Outdoor Deck in downtown Pensacola. It features a light buffet, entertainment, cash bar and a silent auction. For details, including reservations, click here.
— The fifth annual Paddle for Preemies Paddleboard Fun Race on Little Sabine Bay on April 25. Meet at the Coastal Paddle Company dock across from the Margaritaville Hotel. A three-mile fun race for ages 13+ (surfboard style and raceboard style) and a one-mile rookie race for ages 13+ start at 9 a.m. A one-mile kids’ fun race for ages 12 and under starts at 10 a.m. Cost: $35, early registration; $40, event day.
