Public relations professionals honored at FPRA Image Awards

Area public relations programs and practitioners were honored at the 2015 Northwest Florida Image Awards April 2 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin. Hosted by the Northwest Florida Coast Chapter in conjunction with the Pensacola Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association and sponsored by Hilton Sandestin Golf Beach Resort & Spa, Silver Sands Premium Outlets, Visit South Walton and Beach Rentals of South Walton, the regional Northwest Florida Image Awards competition serves to recognize the best in public relations. FPRA Image Awards for the Pensacola chapter were presented for campaigns, printed tools and online/audio/visual tools of public relations. Entries were judged on a written summary and work samples. The Florida Public Relations Association is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida. The Pensacola chapter meets the third Thursday of each month at the Pensacola Bay Center. Monthly programs focus on professional development for the public relations practitioner.
