The real end to summer

The weather today, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday will be the best of the year. Five more days of ideal weather for turning off the air conditioner and opening the windows. It's like Mother Nature is giving us a break after the historic freeze, historic flood and just a plain old hot summer. If you're doing anything outside, this is the weekend to do it. Next weekend will be the end of daylight savings time. You gain an hour on Sunday, but pay the price for way-to-early sunsets. So this weekend is the real end to Summer. Rain finally returns on Wednesday and Thursday. Just in time to water the lawns.
