Reins Formal Wear to close after 66 years in Pensacola

The Pensacola News Journal is reporting that Reins Formal Wear will stop renting tuxedos and formal wear at year's end and owner Howard Reins will retire from the business at age 94. According to the article:
The shop helped clothe thousands of Pensacolians who wanted to look their best for weddings, proms and cotillions. But as the decades crept ahead, a pervading sense of casualness swept society. Where once, people even dressed in suits and ties to fly in airplanes, now, some dress down even for weddings and dances.
Reins, however, will continue wearing his familiar suit with bow tie.
"I just feel comfortable in them," he said of his trademark attire.
