Road work on Ninth Avenue starts Monday night

Traffic on Ninth Avenue between Bayou Boulevard and Springhill Drive will encounter alternating lane restrictions from 8 p.m., Monday, March 30, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, as crews perform maintenance work in the travel lanes. All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Travel with care through the work zone, especially at night, and watch for construction equipment and traffic flaggers entering and exiting the roadway.
