Run for Their Lives 5K benefits Rape Crisis/Trauma Recovery Program

Lakeview Center, Inc. will hold their eighth annual Run for Their Lives 5K run/walk on Saturday, April 25, at 8 a.m. starting at the Casino Beach parking lot on Pensacola Beach. The event is held in recognition of Crime Victims’ Rights Week and Sexual Violence Awareness Month. Participants can register at GetMeRegistered.com; search for “Run For Their Lives Pensacola.” All proceeds benefit the Rape Crisis/Trauma Recovery Program at Lakeview Center. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 registered participants. Registration is $23 for adults; $18 for active-duty military and students through April 23; $20 each for groups of 10 or more; $28 for all participants on race day. A post-race party will follow with food, music by WABD (97.5 FM), an awards ceremony and door prizes.
