Santa Rosa April flood recovery update

The April rains caused some nearly $5 million in damage to Santa Rosa County infrastructure. Now, nearly six months after the record-breaking rainstorm washed out roads and damaged county-owned buildings and facilities, here is n updated look at where those projects stand in the reimbursement cycle for federal officials. Among the big-ticket items: — An estimated $734,000 in repairs to Scoggins Road in Floridatown. — Some $332,600 in damage to county park facilities countywide. — $53,297.27 in repairs at Peter Prince Airport in Milton.
