A single-engine, private aircraft had an issue with its landing gear this afternoon at the Pensacola International Airport.
The Cessna's landing gear collapsed and the aircraft came to a stop at the intersection of the runways.
The airport was closed to operations until the aircraft could be moved, according to Tamara Fountain, chief operations officer for the City of Pensacola. Normal operations resumed about 4:30 p.m.
The incident, which took place about 2:30 p.m., was classified as an Alert III (actual accident), but there are no injuries, no fire and no threat of fire, Fountain said.
