Due to overwhelming response from organizations across the community, the Studer Institute is scheduling a second day of its  “Leadership in the Workplace” training.

Registration is available at the organization's website, StuderInstitute.com.

The original Aug. 20 training on employee engagement and customer satisfaction filled up within three weeks of its announcement, and because of continued demand, the Institute will offer the training again on Aug. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Pensacola.

The cost, as it was for the first training, is a check for $100 per person to the nonprofit organization of the participant's choice.

Randy Hammer, President of the Studer Institute, said he hopes to set the stage for future speakers and workshops. The additional day also could raise more money for local nonprofits. The first day's attendees will raise an estimated $20,000.

“This is such a great chance to learn from one of the best in the business about ways to measure and improve a business or an organization,” said Hammer, referring to Quint Studer, who will lead the sessions.  “Plus, you get to learn all this for the price of $100 to your favorite nonprofit, which is a great way to give back.”

In addition, a business networking trade show will be available following the seminar. This event will provide an opportunity for local organizations to set up display tables with information on their products and services, as well as network with other participants in a more informal setting.
