“This month we have an exciting new SOGO Selfie Contest,” says Susan Campbell, owner of SOGO’s Susan Campbell Jewelry. “Take a selfie in the SOGO district during our Springtime in SOGO event, use the hashtag #sogopcola, and you’re automatically entered to win a SOGO prize basket with goodies from the different SOGO retailers.”

There will also be pop-up shops around the block from Fiore of Pensacola and VolumeONE Salon.

“We are going to bring a piece of Main Street to Palafox Street,” says Shannon Pallin, owner of Fiore of Pensacola. “Our pop-up shop ‘green space’ will encompass the two Main Street stores. Fiore will have spring plants and flowers for sale and VolumeONE will have chairs set up for children hair cuts.”

Just around the corner, Pensacola Museum of Art and T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum will both be open with free admission as part of the SOGO Saturday.  Jackson’s Steakhouse will be opening for a rare Saturday lunch as part of the day’s events.

SOGO, SOuth of GOvernment, is downtown’s retail and cultural center. There are more than 20 stores, specialty shops and restaurants in the SOGO area.
