UWF Athletics to host Argonaut Scholarship golf tournament on May 7

The University of West Florida Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the Jani-King Argonaut Scholarship Golf Tournament presented by Pen Air Federal Credit Union on Thursday, May 7 at Scenic Hills Country Club at UWF. The day’s events will also include a social and silent auction that evening starting at 5:30 p.m. The Jani-King Argonaut Scholarship Golf Tournament presented by Pen Air Federal Credit Union will raise funds for athletic scholarships at the University of West Florida in a fun, relaxed setting. Scholarships at UWF currently support over 250 student-athletes across 15 different sports. The event will start with registration and lunch at 12 p.m., and the tournament’s shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m. Entry packages are available for individuals and teams for the four-person scramble, and the entry deadline is May 1. To sign up, entrants can fill out the registration form and mail it to UWF Athletics, 11000 University Parkway, Pensacola, FL 32514. The social and silent auction, also at Scenic Hills Country Club at UWF, will start at 5:30 p.m. that evening. The free event is open to the public and will feature live entertainment and hors d'oeuvres.
