UWF men's and women's tennis teams earn top seeds in GSC tournament

The University of West Florida tennis teams will compete as the top seeds in the Gulf South Conference Tennis Tournament this weekend in Montgomery, Alabama on April 17-19 at Lagoon Park.
The top-seeded men will face No. 8 seed Christian Brothers and the top-seeded women will face No. 8 West Georgia in the quarterfinals on Friday, April 17. The women’s match will start at 9 a.m. with the men’s match following at 1:30 p.m.
The West Florida men’s tennis team will be looking for its fourth consecutive conference title this weekend and will look to extend its 38-match winning streak against conference opponents.
The UWF women’s tennis team will be looking for its fifth consecutive conference title this weekend and will look to extend its 53-match winning streak against conference opponents.
The West Florida men’s tennis team will be looking for the program’s 12th GSC Championship this weekend while the women will be looking for conference title number 15.
