UWF women’s basketball to host tryouts April 11

The West Florida women’s basketball team will host tryouts April 11 at 11 a.m. at the UWF Field House on the campus of the University of West Florida.
In order to be accepted as a walk-on in the UWF women’s basketball program, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 overall GPA.
In order to participate in tryouts, prospective student-athletes must contact Assistant Coach Jessie Ivey at [email protected] with completed paperwork.

The UWF women’s basketball team advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season in 2014-15 and finished the year with a 20-9 overall record after advanced to the NCAA Regional Semifinals.
