PRESS RELEASE -- In this episode of "Valentino's View" Escambia County Commissioner for District 2, Gene Valentino takes a look at the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

This weekend, the Flyers repeated as Southern Professional Hockey League champions with a win over the Columbus Cottonmouths at the Columbus, Ga., Civic Center on April 12.

The team plays its home games in the Escambia County owned "Pensacola Bay Center" and in this show, Valentino gives us an opportunity to get to know some of the players and even the team's majority owner, Greg Harris.

As you'll see in this program, the Ice Flyers are not just a sports team, but a valued member of the Escambia County community.
