When Studer Community Institute began research in 2014 about the Pensacola community, we reported our findings in a dashboard.
Like the dashboard of a car tells you where you’re going, and how the important functions of your vehicle are working, so too we thought the Pensacola Metro Dashboard would be a way to get a snapshot of how the community is progressing.
It also highlights areas where we need to do more work.
We developed the dashboard in consultation with the University of West Florida, whose researchers helped us settle on 16 metrics that gauge the economic, educational and social well-being of the community.
It includes data about Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
Here’s what the data showed about our community.
